I cannot believe the Marine Corps is celebrating it's 234th birthday. It is hard to believe that the Marine Corps started with so few back in 1775 at Tuns Tavern, Philadelphia, PA and now look what they have become...America's most elite fighting force.
On the Marine Corps birthday I like to remember some of the greats like Chesty, Daly, Butler, Hathcock, and the list goes on and on. So many brave and proud Marines have sacrificed their lives for their country and their Corps...it's pretty damn amazing.
So here is to the past, present, and future Marines- Happy Birthday. For the Marines who have lost their lives...they will never be forgotten.
